No, you do not need a partner. Our instructors are experienced in teaching both couples and singles. If you wish to take lessons as a single, your instructor will be your dance partner.

Q: What types of lessons do you offer?
We offer private lessons and group lessons, which are both 45 minutes in length. In a private lesson, you will be taught one-on-one by an instructor. You may learn steps from a number of different dances, while also learning timing, lead and follow, styling and body movement. A group lesson focuses on one particular dance and provides a great way to learn steps and meet other students.

Q: Does the studio provide opportunities to dance in a social setting?
Yes, every Friday night we have a dance party from 8:45-10:15. The parties give students an opportunity to meet each other and try out new dance steps in a fun, friendly environment.

Q: How soon will I be able to dance?
Under the Fred Astaire System of dance instruction, you will be up on your feet and dancing in your very first lesson. We begin by teaching you the basic steps of the most popular dances so that, within a very short time, you will have the confidence to get out on the dance floor.

Q: When can I take my lessons?
The studio is open from Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Q: Can I choose how many lessons to sign up for?
Yes, you are always free to customize your lesson plan. We also offer new students two types of beginner packages at a discount rate.

The cost will depend on the number of dances you want to learn and how quickly you want to progress. We can tailor a program to meet your individual goals and budget.
