Matthew – Chapter 9
14 Then come to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not? 15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then will they fast.

“Lord, I choose to live a blameless life before You. You have taught me to love my enemies as You have commanded in Your Word. Teach me Lord, to bless those who have cursed and persecuted me. I pray to You this day to soften my heart to forgive those who had hurt or offended me. I choose to be forgiving because Lord, You have forgiven my sin even before I know You. Who am I to condemn those who had offended me. Make me a person who is quick in forgiving. I pray that You will break down the wall of un-forgiveness in between me and the people around me.”
